The Dog of Flanders
Here is an old movie that came out in the late 90's early 00's. I kept running into the commercial on my sailor moon and pokemon tapes. My brother, sister, and I always wanted to watch this but it kept leaving our minds.
Just a day, i was alone with everyone at school. I decided to put it on.
Spoilers (of course)
The trailer has scenes in the movie, but the movie takes a complete 180 degrees at the complete end.
You see a boy and girl; Nello and Alois are good friends. Nello is a drawer. Alois' father is a high and mighty rich jerk. She is to staty away from Nello since he is a poor boy.
He keeps getting hard ships; his fatehr dies, he gets blamed for things, and the milk job they had went sour. (Excuse my pun. even though i love puns!)
He enters a drawing contest for school. Sadily he doesn't win, but a gentleman (judge) of the contest actually wants to help out with Nello's school sicne he loved his drawing. Nello ends up in the church with a drawing he always wanted to see and actually got to see it.
I missed a few terms but i will allow those who haven;t seen it yet to see how it turns out.
