Chapter 2
Throughout the night, Samus was having a bad night; a nightmare that held: remembering the last fight with Ridley, how stronger she became, and finding baby in the first place. Baby actually is a special Metroid. Even though she came from the planets and hatched from the same eggs as others, she was not affected since Mother Brain was first destroyed and then the queen Metroid. As soon as they were destroyed, every Metroid that was hatched from eggs were not affected; as well as unable to be controlled nor transform into their other forms. Baby will always be the same. Baby woke up and saw Samus; who was actually in a cocoon. Something happened to Samus that caused her to morph or mutate. Baby was going berserk. She was screaming and flying around scared as if Samus was turning evil. Later on, baby calmed down due to too much energy being used up.
The next morning, the egg was hatching. Slowly, the large egg was pulsating. Then it started faster. An arm popped up through the shell and then it went back in. A second arm popped up and tore apart the egg. There on the floor laid Samus. She was covered in slime, yet her suit was a little different. Baby was floating around her scared. It cooed and wined really loud. Baby’s whining woke Samus up. She felt much more relaxed and energized. “Good morning’ baby”, Samus said. “What’s the matter?” Samus looked down and saw stuff covered all over her as well as the pupa behind her. “What is going on? What is happening to me?! WHAT is this STUFF!!!!?”
Then a red alert blurted out loud. There was a problem with the ship. Her ship was about to crash onto a planet. It didn’t look like Zebes. It was brown from space. It looked like lots of sand or dirt. “Don’t worry baby. If we’ll crash, we’ll crash softly.” Going through the atmosphere was heating up the ship, yet that was not the problem. There were laser beams hitting her ship as she was making a crash landing. The next thing anyone saw or heard was dust and a big BOOM! The ship stopped and got stuck in the sand. Inside the ship, Samus was trying to do all she could to get her ship back up. It was no use. No buttons were working. Only the emergency lights worked, as well as the cameras. KLING KLING KLING! “What was that” Samus whispered scarily. She turned on the camera and saw lots of little shadowy things with sticks hitting her ship everywhere. “We have to get out before they capture us. Alright baby hold on tight. We’re getting out of here. She grabbed a circuler object that held her suit and changed into it. She opened the pod base doors. Then grabbed baby and dashed out over the shadows as they were about to enter the ship. A few of these things fell over while she jumped passed over them and ran as her top speed. The next thing you saw was a little dot by the sunrise and then disappeared.
One creature stood up and was found to be human shaped and wearing clothes and a hood. The hood was taken off and…
