Chapter 3
Samus ran through the desert at dusk until the planet fell to complete darkness. They had to find a cave or something to sleep in to keep warm or they might freeze.
After making a fire in a cave close by, Samus finally realized about her changes and started to freak out. Baby was purring since she was sleeping close to her mother. Then Samus heard rocks rustling and heard a deep voice coming closer to her. Samus picked up baby and hid behind a crevice. A shadow came over her and stopped. After a few seconds, the shadow left. “We need to find someplace to hide baby. This planet is dangerous and my ship is grounded. Tomorrow must be better. Let’s stay right here for the night.” Samus fell asleep for the night.
The next morning, the fire place was out and the sun was shining through the cave. Samus decided to see if her ship was torn apart by those weird creatures she encountered the night before. When she saw her ship on the horizon line, she saw many smaller crafts and figures standing around and picking up pieces of scrap metal. Samus ran to catch up to the thieving creatures and yelled, “Hey! Stop touching my ship.” At a certain part she was knocked over. When she looked up she saw lots of guards standing by with spears and laser weapons pointed at her. “What’s the deal? This is my ship. Why the hell are you keeping me from my spacecraft? She started getting angrier and she started glowing. What no one realizes is that anger charges and releases the Metroid DNA. Once she finished glowing, her look was much more different. She didn’t realize her new look due to her being blind from anger, but that didn’t stop her from attacking the guards.
Far back stayed baby so she wouldn’t get destroyed or captured or anything. Baby was getting upset and shaking. She released a supersonic screech that reached Samus. She calmed down and ran to baby while hugging her. With her guard down, the guards that were still standing captured Samus and handcuffed her with Rageium handcuffs. A metal that gets stronger the more someone gets angry and absorbs the rage into it. Baby was taken as well captured in a clear metal capsule. The soldiers took Samus and baby into a castle far beyond the cave and anyplace anyone has been at.
Inside the castle, at the far end of the room was a throne sat by a king and queen. Stood down from right side of the queen was a daughter. Samus was pushed down to her knees and baby’s capsule was placed down to the left of her. “What’s this!” yelled the king. “Sire, let me explain.” A man with a cloak unhooded himself. Samus looked up at the man and ‘shocked’ was all over her face. She started to struggle, but a soldier placed his foot down on her back to keep her from moving. “As I was saying, this lady came out of a ship that crashed landed in the forest and ran out so fast no one could stop her. We worked through the night and she came back and tried to attack us claiming the ship belonged to her. She glowed real bright and changed a form and started to attack us, but we managed to stun her and capture her before she could do anymore damage to our men.” “What’s the problem then?” asked the king. “Just throw her in the dungeon like anyone else who tries to escape or attack our kingdom?” “I would sire, but she has this thing floating around her. No one knows what it is, but it made a really loud screech.” “Is that the sound we vaguely heard this morning, asked the queen. “Yes, your majesty.” The princess took a glance at the cage and was stunned. She fainted and half the guards and the queen ran to her. “Send her to the dungeon and bring the little creature to the animal dungeon. We’ll deal with those things later on.
